Season 75, Episode 09 – “Bradford 28”
Natasha Raskin Sharp meets a man whose interest in antique lawn mowers over 50 years ago triggered a passion for the old, the rare and the extraordinary. At a garden centre in Bingley, a treasure trove of mowers, film projectors and miniature cars dangle above the plants. Hoping their buys are a cut above the rest are two teams of bargain hunters, scouring the aisles of a bustling antiques centre in West Yorkshire. In blue are engaged couple Luke and Megan shopping with their expert David Harper, and in red are brothers-in-law Sam and Kier, with Philip Serrell. A pair of blue German beer steins gets bar manager Luke all nostalgic, while a child’s wheelbarrow prompts Phil to reveal that he uses one at home to store his toilet rolls! Elsewhere, the blues select a penguin figurine as an option for Natasha’s challenge, and the reds go round in circles as they hesitate over their second purchase. At Caroline Hawley’s auction in Brough, Phil plans to keep his team in touch with his bonus buy, while David serves up a tasty treat for his duo.

Across the fair, the blue team think about snapping up an early 1900s Japanese dragon-design photo frame – but will it fire up the bidders in the saleroom? With their shopping bags full, the teams head to Chichester to sell their items. A striking piece of jewellery impresses auctioneer Nick Hall, who takes to the rostrum to hammer out the best prices for the teams, but who will come out on top?

Season 75, Episode 05 – “Long Marston 2”
With more than a hundred miles of canals, Warwickshire’s waterways are a kaleidoscope of colour. Canal art adorns many of the county’s narrowboats, bringing vivid splashes of greens, reds and yellows to its towpaths. Presenter Caroline Hawley meets heritage crafter Kerri Williams, who specialises in preserving this traditional art form. Kerri runs workshops teaching the art and helping students to understand the social history behind it. In nearby Long Marston, two generations of antiques hunters search high and low for bargains to take to auction. In red are mum and daughter Bekki and Paisley, and in blue are mum and son Francine and Richard. With 60 minutes on the clock, the reds’ tails are wagging when they spot a vintage ceramic bulldog that is identical to one in a well-known spy movie. However, when expert David Fergus sees the price tag, he says they’re barking up the wrong tree. Meanwhile, the blue team and their expert, Thomas Forrester, find a soapstone sculpture of a lion, but sadly its condition is far from ‘purrfect’. In Bristol, the bidders are in a generous mood when auctioneer Andy Stowe starts selling the teams’ lots – but who’s going home with cash in their hands?
